Fly Fishing for Snook in South Florida

Snook can be found along the beaches of Naples and Marco Island and are plentiful wherever there is strong current. Snook often congregate under docks, piers and bridges. These fish are so much fun to fish for during the day and at night.

In addition Snook can be found taking refuge under mangrove roots. This gives them an easy escape route from predators.

 

Night fishing for snook can be very productive. Snook often linger under docks and bridges awaiting traveling bait. The lights under docks, bridges and piers give us good conditions and it is often very easy to see the fish.
